Greenwich Park

Greenwich Park is an enclosed area and an urban sanctuary for birds, deer and foxes, having historically been a hunting ground for Henry VIII. There is a range of things to do in the park, including six tennis courts, a boating lake and the National Maritime Museum. On the top of the hill is The Royal Observatory, home to the Greenwich Meridian Line - the point from which world time is calculated and the distance to every place on Earth is measured! Don’t miss the breath taking views from the top across the city to Canary Wharf and beyond.
