Richmond Park

By far the largest of London's Royal Parks, Richmond Park was created by Charles I in 1634 and is a National Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interestand a Special Area of Conservation - home to over 600 Fallow and Red deer, Ring-necked Parakeets and many other interesting species of wildlife. The park has two playgrounds, the ornamental woodland gardens of the Isabella Plantation, and a beautiful unobstructed view from the top of King Henry's Mound across to St Paul’s (over 12 miles away!)
